Congrats to All the Winners
TechNite is the annual celebration of the Roanoke-Blacksburg region’s technology community. The evening is designed to celebrate leaders, innovators, and companies in the regional tech community. More than 450 people were in attendance May 8 as a new class of award winners was announced.
2024 TechNite Award Winners
- RBTC Hall of Fame: Dr. Robert Sandel, Virginia Western Community College
- Hart of the Entrepreneur Impact Award: The Tiny Cargo Co.
- Ruby Award: Hal Irvin, Ph.D., Fralin Biomedical Institute at VTC
- STEM-H Educator Award: Dr. Heather Lindberg and Dr. Krisylea Ojeda, Virginia Western Community College
- K-12 STEM-H Educator Award: Mark Levy, Roanoke Valley Governor’s School for Science and Technology
- Rising Star in Technology Award: Fermi Energy Inc.
