NAVSEA SBIR Workshop

Navy SBIR/STTR Topics Workshop | December 4

Have you ever wondered how your innovative ideas or capabilities, either technology or services, can be delivered to the Department of Defense? If so, come hear how you can get a share of the $350 million of non-dilutive funds invested every year by the Navy in innovative ideas. This session will include a half-day webcast presentation, followed by lunch, and one-on-one networking sessions individually arranged with a NAVSEA / NAVAIR representative.

Registration at 8:00 a.m. (webcast begins at 8:15 a.m.): check-in at the registration table at the Pickle Conference Room, on the first floor of the Colket Center, at Roanoke College. Coffee and pastries will be provided before the webcast begins.

Morning Session (8:15 a.m.-12:00 p.m.): webcast program begins at 8:15 a.m., which will include keynotes from Navy leadership, as well as reviews of NAVSEA and NAVAIR SBIR / STTR topics in the Broad Agency Announcement pre-release via a virtual webcast of this workshop taking place in Boston, MA, co-hosted by New England Business Association and Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA).

Lunch included in your registration (12:00-1:00 p.m.)

Afternoon Session (1:00-3:30 p.m.): one-on-one networking sessions that consist of attendees meeting with a NAVSEA / NAVAIR representative individually for 15-20-minute increments.  In support of this event, the U.S. Navy is sending a representative from the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) / Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR). If you are interested in meeting with a representative, please indicate that during registration.

Public parking is available on High Street; otherwise, all participants who register in advance will be emailed an electronic parking pass to print and place on your dashboard, with instructions on where to park on December 4.

Cost: RBTC members can attend at the cost of $25 per person.

Future members are welcome to join at the cost of $35 per person.
