Robin started My Pivotal Point in 2010 to focus on working regionally with small to mid-size businesses to help them develop strong managers and leaders for their growth. She does this through coaching and leadership development trainings. In 2020, after caring for her mother for over 6 years, she launched My Pivotal Point, Caring for Caregivers. This business is focused on supporting Family Caregivers through coaching and supporting employers through caregiver education and support.
Rob Day, COO for TechLab
Mr. Robert Day is the Chief Operating Officer at TECHLAB. He has spent 25 years in quality and operations at FDA regulated companies, including both pharmaceutical and medical devices. In his 20 years at TECHLAB, Day has assumed multiple roles of increasing responsibility in quality management and operational functions. Previously, Day worked in various management roles at Elizabeth Arden with a majority spent as microbiology lab manager.
Day has a bachelor’s degree in Biology with a concentration in microbiology and immunology from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and an M.B.A. focused in project management from the Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University.
Kimberly A. Whiter, CEO and CoFounder of Elder Care Solutions, Inc.
Kimberly has navigated careers as a medical laboratory scientist and higher education leader before joining the executive team for Elder Care Solutions. With her expertise in interdisciplinary and interprofessional work, as well as education, she brings a passion to see caregivers empowered as they face long-term care challenges. As a female executive also in the sandwich generation, Kimberly is focused on helping career-focused women who face caregiving obstacles. Her aim is to position Elder Care Solutions among employee benefits and assistance programs to alleviate the isolation often witnessed by caregivers in the workplace.
Heather Davenport, Vice President, Human Resources Operations for Carilion Clinic
Mrs. Davenport joined Carilion Clinic in 2007 after relocating back to southwest Virginia. At that time, she joined Human Resources overseeing employee benefits and in the years that followed, she was afforded an opportunity to expand her expertise throughout HR. In 2013, was appointed to Vice President, and most recently her role has evolved into overseeing human resource operations. Mrs. Davenport currently serves on the board for Downtown Roanoke, Inc and as a member of the Executive Leadership Team for the American Heart Association Go Red for Women campaign. She previously volunteered as a board member for the Roanoke Better Business Bureau, Carilion Tazewell Community Hospital, Community Partnership for Revitalization and Virginia Business Coalition on Health. Mrs. Davenport is also on faculty at Roanoke College. Mrs. Davenport enjoys traveling with her husband, Paul, and supporting her children’s many activities
